Gotta love Fridays!

I have an update on Brian, well I guess it can't really be an update if I hadn't posted about this before now.
A few weeks ago, Brian woke up and his left arm was numb. The next day he experienced the same thing at work. So, he went to the doctor and they ran and EKG. The results came out showing that the right side of his heart was larger than the other and his doctor was concerened.
A week later he went to the heart hospital and they ran an echocardiogram. I got to sit in there with him while they ran the test. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure what to look for on the monitor. I saw his heart beating and looked pretty regular to me and the blood flow!
Brian was on his way out the door this morning and the house phone rang. He said he wasn't sure why he answered it, but it was his doctor. He said everything came out normal. God is good!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Rehearsal Dinner

We survived the wedding weekend! Adam and Cassidy are on there way to St. John!

We started the weekend Friday night with the rehearsal and dinner. The dinner was at the Harn Homestead in Oklahoma City. Mom, Rita, and I spent just about 4 hours decorating for a western themed celebration. I must say it looked awesome! Everyone showed up with their stetsons and boots about 7:30! We enjoyed their slideshow, yummy BBQ, and dancing. The guys also played some Texas golf.

The wedding was gorgeous! Everything went perfectly! Unfortunately something is wrong with our camera and I don't have any pictures from the wedding yet, but I hope you enjoy the few I got from the reahearsal dinner.

Labor Day weekend and More!

I have lots to share with you! Let's start with Labor Day weekend.

Brian and I went to Duncan to stay with Matt and Abbie. Matt and Brian played in a 3 day golf tournament there at the Country Club. They did great! Going into the final day that were in first place in their flight, but I think the pressure got to them on the last day and fell a few strokes back! Abbie and I got to ride around in the golf cart to watch them most of the day.

Each night they had dinner and some kind of entertainment. Saturday night was Italian night and kareoke! To make a long story real short...a group of us girls got up a sang kareoke. Unfortunately, it wasn't Edwin. Had I picked the song that is what we would sang! Here a few pics from the weekend.

NBA in OKC!
A few may know that Oklahoma City just got its first NBA team. We have known for a while that we got the team, but it has been a huge secret as to what the name was going to be. Rumors were Barons, Thunder, Bison, and I can't remember the others. Last Wednesday they held a public welcome press conference to reveal the name and colors. Brian went to the revealing and said everyone was pretty excited! But the Seattle Supersonics are now the Oklahoma City Thunder! We weren't sure about the name at first, but it is growing on us. Our new team colors are baby blue to represent our state flag, a not too orange not too red(OU and OSU), and yellow for the Oklahoma sunsets. A few of you Texans probably recognize one of our players, Kevin Durant. Needless to say, everyone is pretty excited up here! Since I didn't go I watched it on tv and took a few pictures from the press conference.
I will have more to share next week! Next weekend Sept. 20th is Adam and Cassidy's wedding! I can't believe it is here! We are so excited for them! Please be praying for all the hurricane's. They are suppose to go to St. John on their honeymoon, but so far so good!
